作品是對於臺灣當代社會下的家庭關係提出疑問，從臺灣傳統中華文化的父系社會在家庭價值的改變如何轉向至母系社會角度的思考。計畫以記憶作為進入家庭關係的裂縫，以當下時刻回應過去，透過實質的挖掘詮釋虛像的記憶、實質的辨識詮釋虛像的血緣，在血緣、記憶中流轉的"虛像成為表象的過程"。

我們好像重疊了。母親在我身上看見她的影子，那樣的柔情。成長過程中總有耳語，長相秀麗的男生，之間的違和感直到母親凝視我的眼睛，說著見到了自己，才有所理解。與母親如此相似，這相似找回了30年前母親的相片，鼻子、眼睛、神情，與此時相仿的年紀。即使沒見過年輕時的母親，卻產生刺點，剝去表層，關係血緣又或是基因的本質。相片中的臉不只存在於時間線的某個特定位置，是屬於她的、外婆的、家族的，先於個人。在挖掘過去的過程，逐漸理解母親所謂的重疊，不單樣貌上的相似，相似的行為以及人生歷程，那樣的重疊跨越了時間線，宿命般的重演。翻閱舊相簿，偶然下跨越30年拍攝了同樣的山脈，相片中的山脈即使經過了時間的催化，輪廓頑強的持久性依然顯影在相片上，微乎其微的變化，如同刪除了時間線，建立在同樣卻也不同時間點拿起相機拍下的動作。

母親與孩子的關係不僅是共享同樣的血脈，更映照了彼此的時代脈絡、成長經驗與家族背景，以孩子的身份重新詮釋母親年輕的樣態，以相片作為媒介重演過去，重演無法再現的真實，那曾經屬於母親約的一部分，生下而後成長茁壯，再從孩子上重新看見自己。孩子作為化身扮演著傳承的角色，模仿、內化、重建，成長過程下對於母親的淺移默化。錄像中以外婆的角度描述關於母親的印象，上一代的母女與現代相互映照，觀看重疊的第三視角，外婆作為一把尺，在模糊的印象中，度量兩者間的差異，從孫子的擬仿上產生錯覺，錯認女兒與孫子的樣態。相片上的場景、衣物已經消失，利用3D建模重建過去場景、重新編織的衣物，使觀者再時間意識上多了一層錯覺。

In the video, the impression of mother is described from a third person, the grandmother.
The mother and daughter of the previous generation and that of the modern reflect each other.
Based on vague impression, grandma measures the difference between the two, mistaking the appearance of the daughter and the grandson.
The face in that photo didn't exist in a particular place in the timeline, it was the mother's, grandmother's, family's, prior to her own soul.

The relationship between mother and child not only shares the bloodline, but also reflects historical context, growth experiences and family backgrounds.
The youthful appearance of the mother is reinterpreted with the identification of the child, using the photos as a medium to reenact the past.

The child plays the role of inheritance, imitating, internalizing, reconstructing.Using 3D modeling digital technology to reconstruct the past scenes, giving the viewer an additional illusory guidance toward time awareness.
